28 Aug 2014 | Sussex MA
Time: From 08.10 am
Sussex MA have secured a return visit to the Jaguar Manufacturing Plant at Castle Bromwich and this time to view the Sports Production Line.
The tour, which lasts up to two hours, will include a short introduction in the visitor centre and then, in two groups of 12, we will witness the automation and craftsmanship that goes into all aspects of manufacturing this prestigious brand.
Although the tour itself is free of charge, we will be travelling by coach and therefore there will be a cost of £20.00 per person that we will collect on the day.
The coach will have pick up points on the outskirts of Lewes at the bottom of Mill Road, A26 at 08:10, Brighton at the Black Lion Public House, Patcham at 08:30 and at the Pease Pottage Services* on the A23 / M23 at 09:00. There will be comfort stops on the M40 as required and we plan to arrive at the plant in time for the 13:00 tour. We’ll depart at approximately 15:00 and envisage returning to Sussex at around 20:00
The tour is limited to 24 people** and is on first come first serve basis. To avoid disappointment please contact Douglas Wragg using the details below by 30th June to register your interest and indicate your preferred pick-up point. Further details of the day will follow by email nearer the time and when your reservations are made.
*Parking charges apply
** This tour is bound to be oversubscribed, so a reserve list will be compiled.
