Arran started his career as an apprentice technician at a Toyota retailer. After qualifying he moved to The AA as a Roadside Patrol and over the next 17 years undertook roles in training, account management, line management, business to business sales and operational improvement, before becoming Head of Connected Car Operations.
During his time at the AA, he also worked and led on major investment projects and sat on various working groups across Europe, Australia and the USA.
Arran has since spent time working on vehicle connectivity and new business opportunities for Nissan Europe and is now Chief Engineer Data, Fleet and Business Opportunities.
He became an IMI member in 2006, and graduated from the University of Birmingham with a Master of Business Administration in 2015.
Arran brings knowledge and experience of the new connected car and digital world to the Board.
