The Government’s Office for Low Emission Vehicles (OLEV) endorsement of IMI TechSafe™ standards for those working on electrified vehicles will give motorists confidence they can access the right skills for vehicle servicing and repairs.
We’re always happy to recognise our members’ additional skills and achievements. You or your business may be eligible for further recognition through one or more of the following schemes:
IMI members with technical/engineering qualifications and associated experience can be recognised with a Certificated Automotive Engineer or an Advanced Automotive Engineer award and have access to exclusive updates and webinars on the latest industry technological developments.
The IMI Professional Register is the place for consumers to find skilled, knowledgeable and competent automotive professionals. If at least 50% of your employees are listed, your business could be eligible to join the IMI Employer Recognition Scheme.
These automotive-specific standards offer enhanced professional recognition, status and credibility, and are a driver for current competence and quality improvement in training.
