Event: City of Oxford Squadron 90% Scale Replica Spitfire Visit

The visit will cover the multi award winning, imaginative, bold new scheme and the introduction of 90% scale, operational Supermarine MK26B Spitfires. The dream of one person is now reality.

12 Aircrafts will eventually be built, all with specially built V6 engines and all the extras, all of them identical for ease of build and maintenance, serving and parts.

Groups of up to twenty owner-builders and numerous non-owners are set to work together to complete each exciting aircraft, so with twelve there will be a potential 'Builders Cooperative' at Enstone of over 200.

These MK26B Supermarine kit planes have been designed for novice builders, with the support of Enstone Engineers and local Light Aircraft Association (LAA) Inspectors. All associated paperwork and LAA sign off will be handled internally by the Enstone experts.

We are privileged to have been able to arrange this visit, and a curry supper will be made available to those wishing to participate. The price per person per curry is £7.00 each.

Arrangements can then be made for car sharing if required.
