IMI's triumph for a second year

Surveying and ranking Britain’s employers ‘The Sunday Times 100 Best Companies to Work For’ has published the list of best employers for 2017, and the IMI has remained in the Top 100 Not-For-Profit organisations. Leading automotive employers such as Sytner also ranked 1st in the Top 30 Large Company survey.

Gathering the opinions of employees to understand their feelings towards their bosses, their working conditions and their employer’s values - The Sunday Times 2017 finalists include employers from law firms, retail outlets and garages.

Steve Nash, Chief Executive of the IMI, said:

"Being listed in The Times Top 100 for a second year running is a great achievement for us as a Not-For-Profit organisation. We’re operating in a sector that has seen tremendous change over the last year, and as a growing business that serves the automotive sector I feel it’s important to give our employees the opportunity to share their opinions. Surveying 100% of our staff provides us with a true representation and in-depth analysis of the organisation’s performance over the last year.

"With the automotive sector performing so highly in the list of best employers I hope more talented young people will look at the motor industry as a sector that can offer excellent career opportunities."

In addition, Steve Nash has moved into 24th place in the Motor Traders 2017 Movers & Shakers list with a 5 Star rating for his public profile.
