The IMI and IRTE Sussex Centre’s invite you to an evening in the company of Dr Andrew Spiers MBE and other members of the Solar Car team who will have pleasure in describing their experiences and results after competing in the 2019 Darwin to Adelaide (3000km) Bridgestone World Solar Challenge.
Andrew, who is the project manager of Ardingly Solar and members of the solar team from both Ifield Community College and Ardingly College, will also take us through the enormous technical and logistical challenges that needed to be overcome. Future projects for 2020 undertaken in conjunction with the IMI will also be discussed.
The lecture will commence at 19:45 and beforehand there will of course still be the customary opportunity to enjoy a tea or coffee and to network with friends and colleagues.
