Speaker: John Hutchinson, Retired Concorde Pilot

The IMI Sussex Centre, in association with the IRTE, invite you to an evening in the company of John Hutchinson, a former Concorde pilot.
The talk will be a celebration of 27 glorious years in service with British Airways, including some technical content and a description of what Concorde was like to fly and operate.
John joined British Airways in 1966 as a co-pilot on the Boeing 707 and then transferred to the Boeing 747 in 1971. He gained his command on the VC10 in 1976 and joined the Concorde fleet in 1977 where he spent the next 15 years until retirement.
John is a Past Master of the Honourable Company of Air Pilots of London and is a Fellow of both the Royal Aeronautical Society and the Royal Institute of Navigation.
Doors will open at 19:00 for the customary opportunity to enjoy a tea or coffee and network with friends and colleagues.
