Speaker: Edyson Pavilcu, of Edyson CVT, Italy
Time: 19.45
CVT is a gearbox that allows variations in the transmission ratio without any discontinuity in the rotation; the transmission ratio choice is theoretically boundless as it can assume any value included between the superior and the inferior limits given by the mechanism elements shape.
Edyson CVT is a step-less speed 'variator' using only toothed gears/sprockets, which is compatible with any traditional engine (Petrol, Diesel or CNG) electric motors, steam or wind turbines and even bicycles, as well as a large number of industrial or agricultural applications. CVT can replace a current transmission, toothed belts or chain drives.
As always, doors will open at 19.00 for an early opportunity to have a tea or coffee and network with friends and colleagues.
