Event: Electric Vehicles - Past, Present and Future

About the event

John Lilly, the proprietor of Dragon Electric Vehicles, has been committed to the environmental benefits of alternative transport for over two decades. John is a former chairman of the Battery Vehicle Society.

John has been building electric vehicles for the past 35 years, and has run a business converting and racing electric vehicles for nearly 20 years. He has seen many advances in the available technologies in that time and has used many new developments in the cars he builds for road, off-road and racing purposes.

John's talk will cover a wide range of subjects to do with electric vehicles including some history, technological development, design and specification of electric vehicles. He will also present some ideas concerning the future of electric vehicles in an energy thirsty world.
