Event: Update of Diagnostics on Modern Vehicles

About the event

As we are aware diagnostic computers are a necessity if you wish to carry out servicing and the replacement of minor components. Dave will cover what the new requirements are and show what is involved to either fit the parts, or to reset any learned values relating to the service life degradation of such components.

Some typical examples of these requirements that affect the workshop work, are as follows:
Brake Pad Replacement/ Electronic Handbrake resetting, Brake Bleeding, HID Beam Setting, Particulate Filter Regeneration, Diesel Fuel Additive Replenishment, Learned Function Reset/Door Nodes/Mirrors/Lighting, Steering Angle Sensor Reset, Fuel Prime/Line Purge, Battery Replacement/Disconnection/Reconnection, Airbag/Supplementary Restraint systems replacement, Suspension Resetting &Tracking, BCI Replacement and Programming.
