Event: Visit to the New Norwich Fire Station at Trowse

Committee member and recently retired engineer with Norwich fire service has arranged a visit to the recently opened new fire station, located to the South of the city of Norwich and immediately north of the village of Trowse.

The visit will involve a guided tour of this brand-new facility built to replace their outgrown premises at Bethel Street in the centre of Norwich. The Station is a wholetime station that consists of four wholetime watches, made up of one Watch Manager, one Crew Manager and six fire-fighters. There is also fire safety and admin staff based there.

This will be a rare opportunity to view a fire station with a selection of all the very latest emergency and fire fighting equipment.
