THE ROLE:
You will be an apprentice trained, experienced Vehicle Mechanic and have experience working with a variety of heavy commercial vehicles.
THE DUTIES:
- Carrying out service, maintenance and repair of a mixed fleet HGVs
- Diagnosing faults.
- Carrying out 6 weekly inspections.
• Reporting to the Team Leader.
• Vehicle enhancements which may include the following: tow bars both 7 and 13 pin, Satellite Navigation Systems, In Car Entertainment, Category 1 Alarm Systems, Top Boxes and Roll Tops, Front and Rear Parking Aids, Sports Bars and Chrome Accessories.
• Fast line operations.
• Pre-delivery inspections.
• Quality Control.
• Reporting to the Team Leader.

Responsible for producing quality items to tight tolerances
Set-up and operate press brakes without assistance using bend allowances
