I am currently seeking for a Software Engineer to join a team within the Body Engineering department, you will be based onsite the production plant for a leading Automotive OEM in the midlands working to a minimum of 40 hours per week and early finishes on Fridays. Candidate must be able to understand colour and be efficient in the use of data colour and wavescan measurements.

KEY SKILLS REQUIRED - MUST HAVE

PC Literacy - Microsoft Project, Power Point, Excel (Macro Knowledge preferred), Word.

Excellent communication skills - demonstrated ability to communicate at all levels.

Excellent organisational skills. Self-driven & motivated.

Experience Required:

2-4 years' experience as a Technical Analyst. English & Maths O-Level, GCSE A-C . Valid UK Driving licence

Lead/Support Body Engineers to learn lessons in to Standards/DFMEAs. Lead/Support Body Engineers to deliver warranty spend reduction projects. Quality Data Analysis and Manipulation. Deliver weekly Quality Metric reports. Organising and co-ordination of Quality Meetings and events.

KEY SKILLS REQUIRED - MUST HAVE

Ability to work to tight deadlines.

An ability to interrogate complex data.

Excellent capability in Microsoft tools, particularly data manipulation in Microsoft Excel.

Lead analysis of customer data, predominantly using PAWS. Liaise with project Engineers on related projects to aid the engineering solution. Assist issue management using the AIMS system. Attach and progress Warranty Action Sheet to each Current Model AIMS. Raise Forward Model AIMS upon closure of Current Model AIMS. Help in the construction of presentations as required to forums such as PCPA, PIC reviews, VQR & launch reviews. Good communication & networking with PD functions, suppliers, plant & PVT is essential.
