Offering EASA/FAA authorized MRO services, along with component trading within the commercial aviation industry, our client is at the forefront of innovation and excellence. Job Summary: As the Director of Business Development and Sales - Component Trading, you will spearhead the continual acquisition and cultivation of customer relationships. This pivotal role demands a profound understanding of the market, customer demands, industry insights, and the dissemination of knowledge across the commercial team. The position necessitates travel to engage with customers, vendors, and industry conferences. We seek a self-driven individual capable of collaborative teamwork and adept at handling the day-to-day operations within a rapidly growing organization. Primary Duties & Responsibilities: Establish the company as an approved supplier for selected accounts. Provide guidance and mentorship to the Sales team. Generate new opportunities for asset acquisition. Ensure that inventory sales are in alignment with market value. Attend industry conferences and networking events. Maintain a high level of energy, positive attitude, and a great sense of humor. Undertake other tasks and projects as directed by management. Meet with customers and foster customer relationships. Travel to engage with customers. Required Experience: A bachelor's or master's degree coupled with at least five years of experience in commercial aviation. Over 5 years of experience in aircraft component trading and aftermarket sales. Possession of a robust contact base and network, particularly within airlines. Excellent communication, consultation, and relationship management skills. Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced work environment. Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
