They offer EASA/FAA authorized MRO services, along with component trading offerings within the commercial aviation industry. Job Summary: The Director of Product Line - Engines is entrusted with overseeing commercial operations concerning engine materials. This pivotal role involves leading the Engine Product Line team and managing all aspects of engine teardowns, repairs, and asset management. Primary Duties & Responsibilities: Lead the engine product line team to attain revenue targets and offer guidance to the Business Development team for strategic campaigns. Develop and execute pricing models for engine components, collaborating with Sales and Business Development teams to optimize profitability and revenue rate of return. Foster collaboration across departments to devise new sales programs for revenue enhancement. Identify sales and purchasing opportunities, providing comprehensive reports to senior management. Recruit and train staff to align with company growth and commercial objectives. Oversee the financial health of the Engine Material Group, including budgeting and detailed lot reviews, and contribute to the Airframe inventory valuation process. Establish appropriate inventory levels by engine product line and devise strategies to optimize the performance of repaired or purchased material. Establish and maintain agreements with repair vendors, including negotiations for volume-based pricing. Support asset valuation processes and repair decisions, ensuring streamlined logistical operations. Lead the procurement of engine components for inventory needs, including engine assets, packages, or individual components. Undertake additional responsibilities as directed by management to fulfill organizational goals. Required Experience: Bachelor's or master's degree coupled with at least five years of experience in a product line or technical project-management role. Minimum of 5 years of prior experience in the aviation industry. Experience in procurement, sales, and product line management is essential. Excellent communication, consultation, and relationship management skills. Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced work environment. Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
