Hardware Engineer and Technician Rate negotiable on application Location: Rochester, 3 days per week on site, after initial 3 week on site bedding in period Duration: 12 Months SC Clearance required Inside IR35 There is opportunity within Electronic Systems at Rochester to join a team working on technically challenging problems, as a Hardware Engineer or Hardware Technician. This is a varied role supporting new design, current production, legacy and in service products. Key Responsibilities: Design, development and support of Automatic Test Equipment and supporting Electronics Documentation of Hardware Requirements, Design, Drawings and Validation Qualifications/Experience: Essential: Shall be fluent with all aspects of electronic solution development and documentation Test Systems equivalent technical skills with Hardware with a good awareness of Systems and Software. Electronic Hardware Design Problem Solving Skills Team Working Desirable: Practical electronics skills, eg. Circuit card assembly, soldering, wiring, etc. IPC 610 and 620 experience/qualifications PCB Design
