Apply now and join our team of skilled professionals. Roles and responsibilities: You will be responsible for the day to day service, MOT preparation and repairs of our HGV's. You will keep our HGV's safely on the road, so our street side operatives can carry out their duties for our millions of customers. Responsible for carrying out routine vehicle inspections, routine maintenance, fault finding and repairs to ensure our fleet is reliable, available and safe. Ensure all workshop tools, personal tools and welding equipment must be secured and where possible locked away each night. Welding and electrical equipment should be turned off and left in a safe condition when not in use. Attend roadside breakdowns if required and work as part of a team.Skills and Experience: Previous experience as a Mechanical Fitter/Technician ideally with an NVQ Level 3 Vehicle Qualification. Hold a HGV driving licence. Supply your own comprehensive tool kit.Hours: 40 hours per week Monday - Friday (Overtime available when required) Permanent Role Location: City Of London Salary: £37k - £44k - Congestion charge paid: Saving you £15 per day or £3,900 per year for an employee on a normal Mon-Fri shift pattern.
