One of the world's largest automotive OEM's, is currently recruiting for Project Engineers with experience in any of the following areas - BIW (Body in White) / Trim / Metal / Lighting, to deliver part and system design, to cost, quality and timing targets, based in Bedfordshire, on a contract basis. Duties of the Body Engineer include:- * Automotive Body part design and development * Design and development of metal press parts, trim parts and mechanical parts * Maintenance of existing BIW and trim parts * Liaising with related departments to find technical solutions Knowledge, Skills & Experience required for the Body Engineer:- * Ideally Degree Educated or equivalent industry experience * A background within the Automotive industry * Experience of working with BIW pressings and assembly, and trim parts * Supplier Management * Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages * Valid driving license To meet with current legislation, right to work checks will be carried out to ensure candidates are able to work within the UK.
