Has one of your customers got ‘the right stuff’ to win Top Technician 2012?
The competition is open to any professional technician working in the franchised, independent or fast fit aftermarket. Technicians can register now for the online test at www.toptechnician.co.uk - the first-round theory test deadline is February 24 2012.
The 24 highest scorers will progress to practical semi-final heats in March and the final six will then battle it out for the title - and the massive prize package. The grand final is scheduled to be held at the Honda Institute, Slough.
NB. After entries close, all entrants will again receive the correct answers to the online test in order to identify training needs.
Project Co-ordinator, Nicola St.Clair, comments on this year’s event and the advantages of taking part:
“Simply by entering, there is great kudos for them and their business,” says Nicola.
New for 2012 - Exclusive web-based ‘Top Tech Forum’
Nicola continues, “All entrants are automatically enrolled in the Top Tech Club, which provides them with regular sponsored technical articles, information and offers to help them in their work. In 2012, we’re taking Top Tech Club to another level with free private access to an exclusive new web-based forum for members. This will be an immensely valuable resource for technicians to network with like-minded professionals and share their knowledge and expertise.”
New Live event for Technicians
Announcing the inauguration of ‘Top Tech Live’, a new interactive training event which will take place annually in the Spring, Nicola adds: “Top Tech Club members will benefit from preferential cost-price tickets to ‘Top Tech Live’, a day dedicated to technical training and business information which will also incorporate the ‘Top Technician 2012’ awards ceremony.”
Industry support
Top Technician 2012 is supported by a group of leading industry companies committed to providing workshops with the support and training needed to keep abreast of today’s increasingly complex vehicle technology.
