Wheels & Tyres (WAT)

One of the highest safety critical components is the one that stands between the vehicle and road surface, often with only a contact patch no bigger than the palm of your hand. With that in mind, its important that tyres are fitted and repaired correctly. This course is designed for technicians who want to develop their knowledge and skills in wheels and tyres. The course covers the principles of operation of wheels and tyres, including the various types of systems, their components and functions. The course includes both theory and practical training, covering topics from the diagnosis and repair of faults in wheels and tyres to the replacement of components.

This specific Wheels and Tyres (WAT) course is proudly recognised by the official Pirelli Performance Centre (PPC) audit standard for Wheel Balance and Tyre Changing. The PPC network standard is an industry leading audit used across a collective of tyre centres to ensure best practice and constant delivery of the highest levels of customer quality and care.
