VEHICLE TECHNICIAN

LUTON | £32,000–£38,000 BASIC | OTE UP TO £55,000

Pembrook Resourcing is currently recruiting an experienced Vehicle Technician for an exciting opportunity within a prestigious automotive dealership in Luton.

THE OPPORTUNITY

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Vehicle Technician to join an established workshop environment, working alongside an experienced team and carrying out a varied range of servicing, maintenance and repair work.

With an attractive earning potential of up to £55,000 OTE, this is an excellent opportunity for a technician looking to develop their career within a premium automotive environment.

THE PACKAGE

  • Basic salary of £32,000–£38,000, dependent on experience.
  • OTE up to £55,000.
  • Monday–Friday working pattern.
  • Saturday rota to be confirmed (currently expected to be approximately 1 in 4 Saturday mornings).

THE ROLE

As a Vehicle Technician, your responsibilities will include:

  • Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs to vehicles.
  • Diagnosing faults using the latest diagnostic equipment.
  • Identifying mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Completing vehicle health checks and reporting additional work required.
  • Carrying out repairs efficiently and to manufacturer standards.
  • Ensuring all work is completed safely and accurately.
  • Maintaining a clean and organised working environment.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent.
  • City & Guilds Level 3 qualification.
  • Previous experience working as a Vehicle Technician within the motor trade.
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
  • Good knowledge of mechanical and electrical vehicle systems.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • A professional attitude and strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
