Our client, a franchise-approved dealership in Stroud, is seeking a Vehicle Technician to join its busy Service Department. This Vehicle Technician role offers excellent earning potential, professional development and long-term career prospects within a respected local dealer group.

Starting salary of £32,000–£38,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

Uncapped monthly time-saving bonus scheme, with potential earnings of £45,000–£50,000 OTE.

Enhanced overtime paid at time and a half.

40-hour week with negotiable start and finish times, plus every other Saturday morning from 08:30 to 12:30.

As a Vehicle Technician, carry out servicing, repairs and fault diagnosis to manufacturer and dealership standards.

Accurately diagnose vehicle faults and report on vehicle condition, safety, reliability and performance.

Complete all work in accordance with quality procedures and franchise requirements.

Work efficiently within a busy Service Department and contribute towards team targets.

Maintain high standards of workmanship and customer service.Requirements:

The successful Vehicle Technician must hold IMI/NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, as a minimum.

Ideally, 1–2 years’ post-qualification workshop experience.

A full UK driving licence with minimal points.

A committed, reliable team player who can produce high-quality work in a busy franchise-approved dealership.

An active MOT Smart Card and experience working on Stellantis vehicles would be advantageous but are not essential.This Vehicle Technician position provides a strong opportunity to develop your technical skills while progressing your automotive career.
