Relyon automotive (Essex) LTD is a busy fleet assistance and vehicle repair company repairing and maintaining fleets of emergency and non emergency ambulance vehicles

We are looking for a qualified mechanic to service, maintain and perform repairs on PTS/Emergency Ambulances and LCV fleet vehicles.

1: Workshop based and may involve travel to and from different sites for breakdowns.

Main Responsibilities

• Primary duties are the repair and maintenance of emergency and non-emergency vehicles
• Carry out and evaluate preventive maintenance schedules
• Conduct repairs on the brake, engine, electrical, fuel, hydraulic, transmission, ignition, air suspension systems, exhaust, axle assemblies, and related systems on all types of equipment

Essential Criteria

• Comprehensive knowledge of motor vehicles and previous experience in a similar environment. City & Guilds Automotive or equivalent
• Have a full UK manual driving license with no more than 3 points
• Over 25
• Strong diagnostic skills
• Able to remain calm under pressure
• Strong organisational skills and ability to multi-task whilst under pressure
• Proven ability to be flexible within an environment
• Must have excellent attention to detail
• Previous responsibility for the maintenance of a large, varied fleet.
