Our client is looking for a Trailer technician to join a busy commercial vehicle outlet. You will come from a proven and stable background working as a Technician, and be qualified to City and Guilds level 3. Your duties will be to maintain, repair all types of trailers.

Conduct regular preventive maintenance activities as scheduled by the maintenance system
Assist in the preparation of preventive maintenance records
Ensure safety checks on all machinery are conducted and records maintained
Respond to machine breakdowns to minimise plant downtime
Install and commission new and current equipment where required
Liaise with on-site contractors where required
Ensure all contractors are signed in/out and that necessary paperwork and subsequent safety procedures are adhered to.
