This position is for a busy and reputable garage working with a strong reputation so we need someone with an attention to detail. Depending on how you work will determine your bonus though we aren't looking for someone to rush just so if you want to take your time then that's not a problem.

Our client is a leading finished vehicle logistics company with locations across the UK who specialise in new and used vehicle preparation, logistics and secure storage to the automotive industry. They are currently seeking Vehicle Polishers / Oven Rectification technicians to join their body shop in Chipping Warden.

THE ROLE

Reporting to the Head of Controls you will a key part in the calibration team. Key responsibilities for the Software engineer will include;

The main duties are the authoring, testing and validation of transmission software.

This will involve taking functional requirements through the software development process to production ready code.

THE PERSON:

Based out of the Chester office, the ideal Software Engineer will have the following skills and experience;

Salary: £30,000 Basic + Overtime
Shift: Day Shift - 4on and 4off
