The IMI are responsible for developing and maintaining automotive Apprenticeship frameworks for England, which are compliant with the Specification of Apprenticeship Standards for England (SASE). These frameworks are available to view under the 'Downloads' section to the right of this page. These can also be found on the Apprenticeship Frameworks Online (AFO) Web portal here.
Please note due to government re-forms around Apprenticeships, SASE frameworks are currently in the process of being replaced by new style ‘Standards’ under the ‘Trailblazer’ initiative driven forward by employers.
As part of the transition from SASE frameworks to the new Standards the Education & Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) has started to withdraw some of the SASE frameworks.
The following Automotive SASE frameworks have been removed:

A formal announcement on Batch 4 will be made by the ESFA shortly.
