Hear directly from senior IMI leaders, including IMI CEO Nick Connor FIMI, who will provide an update on the Institute's strategic priorities, key industry initiatives and how the IMI is supporting automotive professionals through a rapidly evolving automotive landscape.
We are also pleased to welcome Wrightbus, one of the UK's leading vehicle manufacturers and a recognised pioneer in sustainable transport solutions. As a global leader in the development of zero-emission battery-electric and hydrogen fuel cell vehicles, Wrightbus is helping to shape the future of public transport and drive the transition towards cleaner, greener mobility. Alan Boyd, Vehicle Concepts & Packaging Manager, will share insights into the latest developments in hydrogen and electric vehicle technology, the challenges and opportunities of vehicle innovation, and how these emerging technologies are transforming the future of transport and the skills required to support it.
Michael Strain, CEO at Transport Training Services (TTS) will also provide an overview of the vital role they play in developing the next generation of automotive professionals. As the training delivery arm of the Transport Training Board, TTS is a social enterprise dedicated to apprenticeships, technical training and career development across the retail motor, transport and logistics sectors throughout Northern Ireland.
The event will conclude with a relaxed networking lunch, offering an excellent opportunity to connect with fellow members, industry experts and the IMI team. Following lunch, attendees will have the opportunity to take a guided tour of TTS's brand new state-of-the-art HGV and Light Vehicle training facilities, showcasing the investment being made in future talent and workforce development across the region.
