Nomination criteria

Nominations should demonstrate how the apprentice has:

  • Achieved excellence in learning, professional standards, and workplace performance
  • Applied their skills and knowledge effectively in a real-world environment
  • Developed industry-relevant skills, including those aligned to future automotive technologies
  • Shown innovation, initiative, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Made a positive impact within their organisation and delivered measurable value
  • Demonstrated resilience, commitment, and the ability to overcome challenges
  • Shown passion for the automotive sector and dedication to ongoing career development

Eligibility

Nominees must be currently enrolled in or have completed an apprenticeship aligned to an IMI-
accredited course during the 2026/2027 academic year.

This award is open to individuals at intermediate, advanced, or higher-level apprenticeships in
any discipline. There are no age restrictions.
