This award celebrates excellence in frontline and middle management by recognising high-performing individuals, identifying future industry leaders, and supporting their development through a financial prize and executive mentoring, while fostering a strong community of rising talent across the automotive sector.
Judges for this award are Sarah Whiteside Jones, Director of Membership, Engagement and Public Affairs at the IMI, Daksh Gupta, Adrian Wallington and Linda Jackson.

Who should apply:
Managers in automotive organisations who:
- Have under 5 years of management experience
- Currently manage a team, function, or business unit
- Work in any automotive function (e.g. sales, aftersales, operations, finance, marketing, supply chain, EV, digital)
- Have delivered measurable business results
- Demonstrate leadership behaviours and people development
- Show commitment to the future of the automotive industry
Winners will receive:
- Financial Reward of £2000
- 12 months of one-to-one mentoring from industry expert, Daksh Gupta
- Invitation to the IMI Awards Dinner in March
