This award honours those who generously give their time, energy, and expertise to the IMI and the wider motor industry, often going above and beyond without seeking recognition or reward. It recognises volunteers who make a meaningful difference through their commitment, professionalism, and positive influence, while helping to raise standards, support learning and development, and strengthen the IMI community.

Nomination criteria
Nominations should demonstrate:
- What makes this volunteer stand out and the impact they have made.
- Their professionalism, commitment, and approach to volunteering.
- Their involvement in IMI events, forums, initiatives, and outreach programmes.
- How they support and promote IMI objectives, including skills development and emerging technologies.
- Examples of significant contributions to the IMI, the motor industry, or the wider community.
- Their ability to lead, collaborate, inspire others, and go the extra mile.
- How they champion the IMI and advocate for continuous professional development.
Eligibility
Nominees must be an IMI member or represent an IMI Centre, and must currently or previously have served in a volunteer capacity for the IMI. They cannot have received payment for their contribution to the IMI.
