Nomination criteria
Nominations should show how the learner:
- Demonstrates high standards, professionalism, and effective application of knowledge.
- Develops skills relevant to the automotive sector, including emerging technologies and EVs.
- Makes significant contributions to learning projects and extracurricular activities.
- Shows determination, accountability, and continuous improvement despite challenges.
- Actively engages in learning, supports others, and seeks opportunities beyond the curriculum.
- Positively contributes to their learning environment and acts as a role model.
- Consistently goes above and beyond, demonstrating exceptional commitment to studies and peers.
Eligibility
Nominees must:
- Be currently enrolled in an IMI qualification during the 2025/2026 academic year
- Be studying at a school, college, or training provider
- There is no age limit for this category
- This Award is not open to apprentices. Please see Apprentice of the Year Award.
