Motorhome Technician

Up to £40,000 DOE | Burton upon Trent | Full-Time | Permanent

An established and growing automotive business is opening a new garage in Burton, and we're looking for an experienced Motorhome Repair Technician to join the team.

If you're technically minded, enjoy fault-finding and want to work on something a little different, this is an opportunity to specialise in motorhomes and campervans, tackling a varied range of habitation repairs, electrical issues and installations.

The workshop is being built from the ground up, giving you the opportunity to make your mark and help shape how the team operates.

What you'll be doing:

  • Carrying out motorhome and caravan habitation servicing
  • Diagnosing and repairing electrical, water, heating and appliance faults
  • Working with 12V and 240V electrical systems
  • Completing damp checks and interior repairs
  • Installing accessories such as solar panels, awnings, alarms and cameras
  • Investigating battery and charging issues
  • Preparing vehicles for sale and customer handover
  • Maintaining accurate repair reports and job records

What we're looking for:

  • Previous experience as a Motorhome, Caravan or Vehicle Technician
  • Strong electrical diagnostic and fault-finding skills
  • Knowledge of 12V and 240V systems
  • Basic plumbing and interior repair experience
  • A methodical approach and attention to detail
  • A full UK driving licence

NCC / AWS habitation certification, LPG or gas qualifications and accessory installation experience would be advantageous, but aren't essential.
