We are seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join our established automotive group in Bolton, Greater Manchester. This permanent, full-time Management Accountant position offers a basic salary of £50,000–£57,000, a performance-related bonus scheme with OTE of £60,000–£65,000, and a company car.

As our Management Accountant, you will provide accurate financial reporting, commercial insight and support to senior management while leading a small accounts and administration team. This is a Monday-to-Friday role, working 40 hours per week with no weekend work.

Monday-to-Friday working hoursDuties:

Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts

Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning

Provide financial analysis and reporting to support business performance

Manage day-to-day financial activities and respond to queries

Identify financial variances and improvement opportunities

Lead, motivate and support a small team

Maintain financial processes and procedures in line with company standards

Work closely with senior management and key business stakeholdersRequirements:

Recognised accountancy qualification or qualification by experience

Previous experience as a Management Accountant or in a similar finance role

Strong analytical, numerical and financial reporting skills

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to work independently and take ownership of financial responsibilities

Experience leading, motivating or supporting a team

Strong communication and organisational skills

Proactive, commercially aware and professional approach
