We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join our client’s manufacturing team. You will play a key role in maintaining and improving quality standards across manufacturing operations, taking ownership of non-conformance investigations, supporting customer and supplier quality issues, conducting audits and driving continuous improvement.

Job Description
Take ownership of internal and external non-conformance investigations, applying structured root cause analysis techniques such as 8D and ensuring effective corrective and preventative actions are implemented.
Carry out internal process and quality audits, supporting compliance with AS9100, AS13100 and company procedures, and ensuring audit findings are followed through to closure.
Manage calibration records and equipment control, including gauges, measuring instruments and CMMs, coordinating external calibration where required.
Interpret engineering drawings, route cards and technical specifications to ensure product and process compliance.
Maintain and improve quality documentation, procedures and work instructions, ensuring controlled documents remain accurate and up to date.
Identify and implement opportunities to reduce scrap, rework, defects and process variation, working closely with Production and Engineering teams.
Support New Product Introduction activities, helping establish appropriate inspection requirements, quality controls and manufacturing processes.

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
Previous experience in a Quality Engineer or Quality Assurance role within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
Strong understanding of manufacturing quality processes, with excellent problem-solving, communication and organisational skills.
